According to her website Josephine Bradley Scott Jo, aka Yoyoe is an eclectic Melbourne based artist working with ink, oil, spray can and body paint media. As a passionate body image activist, she has worked with respected organizations such as The Breast Cancer Foundation Butterfly Foundation, Eating Disorders Victoria, art2Healing and partnered MiEDA for the “I am Human” project, exhibited in the USA in 2012. She has body painted for numerous corporate events and brand launches including those for Lulu Lemon, Virgin, Ansell and Preface Films.
Born in Whyalla in outback South Australia, Bradley Scott completed a degree in Illustration (Visual Communication) at the University of South Australia and began drawing after overcoming an eating disorder. Nowadays, her pensive and playful pen and ink characters act as a medium to encourage self acceptance of these disorders.
Bradley Scott contributed to Sweet Streets 2010 – Melbourne. However, it is not evident what Bradley Scott has been up to lately, as her website has not been updated for some time, so that leads me to ask…
Where have you been, Yoyoe Bean?
